Blu wins top prize at inaugural Vape Business Awards for Intense Liquidpods

Vaping brand blu has won the Product of the Year award at the first Vape Business Awards held on July 3, 2019 in London.

The brand owned by the tobacco giant Imperial Brands bagged the coveted prize for its Intense Liquidpods in the myblu portfolio.

Judges said: “Our winning manufacturer has proven that research and experimentation pays off with this product, which contains a breakthrough liquid formulation providing better satisfaction and faster delivery than traditional vaping liquids.”

Andrew Miller, head of sales – grocery and next generation products at Imperial Brands, said: “It’s a fantastic feeling to win – we’ve worked really hard for the last three or four years with the vape channel and retailers.

“This has been a long-term project from Imperial Tobacco and blu, as we’re delighted to win the biggest award of the evening.

“We’ve developed a lot of new flavours and a fantastic device, we’ve got a huge retail footprint in terms of distribution available and we’ve got a lot of retailers to support our product.”
