As business trebles, this vape wholesaler is set for expansion

A wholesaler of vape and cannabis oil has said its business has trebled in size and is now set to hire more staff, stated recent reports.

Management at JM Wholesale has declared that they are looking for 30 new staff after moving to bigger premises, adding that the business has trebled in size over the last year as it has grown exports to 170 markets around the world.

The four-year-old firm  is now moving from its original Leicester city centre base to a 50,000 sqft premises in Whetstone, on the city’s edge. The new site will include offices and warehouses, as well as a clean room, production facilities, a showroom and a conference room, following a six-figure fit-out.

JM Wholesale supplies cannabidiol products including food, drinks and skincare items as well as vaping liquids, kits and chargers from a variety of brands.

Chief executive Logie Rajan said, “This move reflects our rapid expansion and our growth to take our position as one of the most prominent wholesalers in our industry.

“Specialists in business-to-business supplies, we are carving out a unique position in the vaping and CBD market. We have the widest range of vape and CBD products in the UK, to offer our customers, and we are increasingly offering a white labelling service to allow vendors to supply our products under their own recognised brand.

Rajan cited recent figures to claim that the UK vape market generated revenues of around £2.1 billion in 2019 – which he said is expected to reach £2.9 billion next year. CBD use in the UK had skyrocketed, making it the second biggest market in the world, he said.
